Stockton has been re-designing it's high street and now it's time to put down the drills and celebrate. On the 21nd March the town will be celebrating the street's re-launch with surprises planned throughout the day.
If you have ever fancied designing your own high street then come find me and give it a go. Maybe you think there should be shops that sell magical supplies to wizards, or that there should be a dog grooming salon for unusually sized dogs. Whatever it might be come join in.
No need to book, just turn up on the day.

I had great fun working with writer Carmen Thompson, film-maker Laura Degnan and costume designer Kim McDermottroe this December.
Thanks to all the lovely families who popped in to visit us at the top of our windy tower.
Some of the children who joined us in making Christmas cards, decorations and films.
It's not quite December but I'm feeling that festive vibe, I can't wait to get the decorations up.
Redcar & Cleveland Council are funding a range of festive activities at the Beacon throughout December. I'll be running Christmas card making sessions for children, and will be making myself feel even more festive. I hope to see you down there.
These activities are FREE but booking is required, see the poster below for more details.
Myself and Carmen Thompson teamed up with Kev Howard to deliver a day of Australian fun. We started the day with Kev telling us the story of how the didgeridoo got it's name, and why a kangaroo is called a kangaroo.
The children created some aboriginal style art based on maps they made of the surrounding area. We looked at how the aboriginal people use symbols and created some of our own.
I'm returning to the woods with Carmen Thompson to deliver our new workshop. Thanks to those who have already booked we are half full already!
I will be running a series of workshops with writer Carmen Thompson in Saltburn woods this year. Funding has been secured so we are able to offer them for only £1! We would love for you to join us.
I'm guilty of blog neglect! It has been far too long since this page has been updated, so I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know what has been going on.
I have recently teamed up with writer Carmen Thompson to form Lit-Up. Together we run workshops and events that aim to bring poetry and story to life. You can find out more about our last event Monsters in the Woods here.
We are running some Christmas workshops with Saltburn Woodland Centre over the next few weeks. Great festive fun for kids!
I'm now also able to offer Arts Award Explore/Discover to schools and community organisations. Contact me to find out more.
The Blogcreepers, a website by Saltburn Primary School's Blog Club has gone live!
In only four sessions the children have designed the blogs appearance, produced articles, written stories, recipes, football reports, and created illustrations, among other things. Some of these articles will be added to the blog in the coming weeks.
We have even seen one article published on The Guardian Children Books site!
